Pause & Notice is a simple, tactile resource designed to help families slow down and notice what’s happening — without pressure to explain, fix, or get it right.
 
It supports children to become familiar with language for how they’re feeling, before things feel overwhelming, allowing awareness to grow gently over time.
 
This tool offers a shared starting point that fits easily into real family life. Families are invited to use it in a way that suits their own rhythm — to start the day, land the day, or as things slow down in the evening.
 
There’s no set script and no expectation of a response. Some children will talk. Some won’t. Both are okay.
